In accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth), we publish an annual Modern Slavery Statement which sets out actions taken by the Group throughout the year to address modern slavery and human trafficking risks in our business and supply chain.
We submit our statement to the Australian Attorney-General’s Department of the Australian Government annually, and it is submitted for the previous calendar year. You can read our 2025 statement here.
As part of our risk mitigation in ensuring our supply chain is free from modern slavery, we conduct risk assessments on our suppliers and during 2025, we conducted ethical sourcing risk assessments of 75% of our total overseas supplier spend, and 73% of our total local spend. We also visited all of our large China based suppliers, plus numerous potential suppliers to perform site checks and screenings.
From a due diligence perspective, we offer Modern Slavery training to all our employees and send out Modern Slavery Fast Facts sheets to suppliers to assist them in understanding Modern Slavery in Australia, New Zealand and globally, as well as suggested tasks, additional information and resources to share guidance on how to eradicate any form of Modern Slavery from their supply chains.
